A product which was a household name among appliances during the 1940s and 1950s, the Ironrite Ironer, was manufactured in Mount Clemens, Michigan, from 1946 until 1961.

Designed by Herman H. Sperlich in 1938 for the Ironrite Ironer Co. to market with their 85 model ironer.
