was designed for US Submarines. The Navy utilized Emeco chairs because they are impervious to corrosion, non-magnetic, lightweight, fireproof and incredibly strong. process since 1944. This classic modern chair is made in the USA and is part of the Emeco modern furniture collection. The Navy chair is handmade with 80% recycled aluminum and is designed to last for 150 years! The Emeco navy chairs go through a detailed 77 step manufacturing process. It takes 50 hands 4 hours just to make one of these fine chairs.
