 Mid Century Eames Era Mondrian Light Fixtures
Rare 3 pc. set of European 1950`s ceiling and sconce fixtures in the Mondrian style grid line design with 3 primary colors. The material is durable plastic with a white background on which are painted red, yellow and black irregular blocks within the grid lines in the fashion of the early 20th Century Danish artist. These were probably made in Italy and still have the European sockets which accommodated their bayonet bulbs. Great for a bath or bedroom or smaller den. The colors are vibrant and the designs superb. The condition of all three is excellent and to have all three in a room would be an outstanding artistic statement. |
