Bertjan Pot Bertjan Pot (born 1975) studied design at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and chose to specialize in Man and Identity. Ulf Moritz was head of the Man and Identity Department under whose guidance Pot discovered his fascination for textiles. The designer’s graduation project was actually the production of a knitted lamp. Pot graduated in 1998 and started working as a freelance designer as a member of Monkey Boys – a studio he co-founded with friend, Daniel White. In 2003, Pot opened his own studio and started collaborating with numerous manufacturers including Arco, Alturo Alvarez, Den Herder Production House (DHPH), Domestic, Established & Sons, Feld, Functionals, Gelderland, Goods, Innofa, Lensvelt, Montis, Moooi, Moustache, Richard Lampert, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and Textielmuseum Tilburg. |
